I loved the first book so much, and managed to withhold buying Shane’s second book for a whole couple days.

This book did not disappoint at all. It did not make me cry nearly as much as the first one but I think I read nearly the entire Craigslist essay out loud to my friend. Hilarious!

I actually really loved this book. A little surprising, I’ve never been a fan of vloggers.

Shane adds such personal little bits in such a casual way while actually being super self-deprecating and funny in a way that makes the weird thoughts that go through my mind seem like something that other people could think too.

I know from the comments I saw when I first added this book on Goodreads that a lot of people judge it right away based on some of his videos or on some of the language, they clearly did not read the essay “Shocktuber”.

Cannot wait to read his second book.
